Terms and Conditions for No More Nits - Nit and Lice Removal Service
These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the use of the nit and lice removal services ("Services") provided by No More Nits ("Company") to customers ("Customers") within Ascot, Windsor, Bracknell, and surrounding areas ("Service Area"). By availing the Services, Customers agree to be bound by this Agreement, which constitutes a legally binding contract between the Customer and the Company. Please read these terms carefully before using the Services.
1. Our Services:
We offer two main service options: Option 1: A thorough lice and nit check using a high-precision detection system. and Option 2: A full, chemical-free removal treatment using specialist tools and techniques.
2. Who We Serve:
Our Services are available to clients of all ages, including individuals and families, within our designated Service Area.
3. Chemical-Free Policy:
All treatments are completely free from harsh chemicals, pesticides, or toxic substances. If, during a session, we identify a scalp issue that appears more serious than typical dry skin or dandruff (e.g., infection, inflammation), we will not continue treatment to avoid worsening the condition. In such cases, we will advise you to consult a healthcare professional before proceeding.
4. Pricing Structure:
Option 1 - Initial Head Check:
- £25.00 for one individual
- £20.00 per additional head (same household)
- This fee is refunded if Option 2 is booked immediately following the check
Option 2 - Full Treatment:
- £75.00 for short hair
- £85 for medium hair
- £95.00 for long or very long hair
Follow-Up Appointment (Day 7):
- £50.00 - This follow-up is essential to guarantee complete removal
Additional Appointments:
In severe cases, a third session may be recommended. This will be discussed with you and priced accordingly.
5. Infestation Levels:
During the initial check (Option 1), we'll assess the level of infestation. If lice or nits are found, Option 2 must be carried out for full clearance. While we can guarantee removal upon completion of the treatment plan, we cannot prevent future re-infestation.
6. Extra Treatment Needs:
For very heavy infestations, more than two treatments may be necessary. This will be explained clearly, and extra charges may apply based on the time
required.
7. Booking Appointments:
Appointments can be arranged at your home or, with permission, at your child's school. Please ensure someone aged 18 or over is present during home visits for children under 16.
8. Insurance & Responsibility:
Our team is fully insured and has a combined 20+ years of experience in hairdressing and head care. While every effort is made to deliver a safe and comfortable experience, we are not liable for allergic reactions or any unforeseen effects related to existing or undisclosed skin conditions.
9. Cancellations:
We kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee.
10. Legal Compliance:
All services are carried out in accordance with UK health and safety regulations and relevant local laws.
11. Privacy Notice:
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Your personal information is used solely for the purpose of providing our Services. Full details are available in our Privacy Policy, which is available on request or via our website.
12. Changes to Terms:
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be communicated via our website or directly if you have an active appointment. Continued use of our Services constitutes agreement to the revised terms.
By availing the Services, Customers acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
